2008 UF Entomology/Nematology Outreach Update:

Due to the significant budget shortages faced by the University of Florida, the Entomology and Nematology Department has had to reduce its general outreach efforts. Consequently, we are able to offer only a very limited number of school tours and demonstrations. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

The University of Florida’s Education and Outreach program is designed to increase awareness and enthusiasm for insects and other “bugs.” Shows are given to groups of all sizes and ages and are tailored to meet the individual needs of the specific audience. We try to make each show Fun as well as informative, with lots of live critters and as many hands-on activities as time, group size, and age permit.
